NOTICE OF FULL COUNCIL MEETING
I hereby give notice that a Meeting of the Community Councils Finance Committee will be held on Monday 8th September 2025 at 6.30pm

All Members of the Councils Finance Committee are hereby summoned to participate remotely in order to consider and resolve upon the matters which appear in the agenda. The community councils’ remote meetings protocol will apply.
Agenda
1. To note attendance and receive apologies for absence.
2. To receive declarations of interest and the nature of those interests. (Relevant to items being discussed on the agenda).
3. To approve the minutes of the previous meeting.
4. To approve the schedule of payments.
5. Democratic Half Hour – The public are invited to make representations on business being transacted at the meeting or propose items for the agenda of the next meeting (Time constraints apply)
6. To receive any updates from the Proper Officer and councillors and discuss and resolve upon any further actions required. (Including but not limited to the Council’s Budget and Finances, Telecommunications, Allotments, etc)
7. To agree, discuss and resolve upon a number of policies and procedures, the details of which have been distributed to councillors (Capability Policy, Sickness Policy and Disciplinary Policy)
8. To discuss and agree upon a date for the Councillors Christmas meal.
9. To discuss and agree arrangements for the continuance of business during staff absences.
10. To discuss and resolve upon any further actions required in respect of the Aqua Park at Cosmeston.
11. To discuss and agree upon the latest request from the Cricket Club and adopt any agreement prepared by the Proper Officer
12. To discuss and resolve upon the next actions in respect of the Library and Library lease
13. The proposed date of the next meeting of the Community Council is a full Council meeting on the 6th October 2025.
In accordance with section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to meetings) Act 1960. In view of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted, it is advisable in the public interest that the press and public are excluded from the meeting.
Part 2
1. To discuss and resolve upon issues regarding the future use and maintenance of the playing fields, etc.
2. To receive any confidential updates from the Proper Officer and councillors and discuss and resolve upon any further actions required.
