All Members of the Council are hereby summoned to participate remotely in order to consider and resolve upon the matters which appear in the agenda. The community councils’ remote meetings protocol will apply.
Agenda
1. To note attendance and receive apologies for absence.
2. To receive declarations of interest and the nature of those interests. (Relevant
to items being discussed on the agenda).
3. To approve the minutes of the previous meeting.
4. To approve the schedule of payments.
5. To receive a report from the representatives of external bodies at Sully
Primary School, those on the Chemical Advisory Board and
Community Liaison Panel, One Voice Wales Bridgend, Cardiff & Vale
Area Committee,
VOGC locally elected members and the councillors associated with our Sec
6 obligations (If Applicable).
6. Democratic Half Hour – The public are invited to make representations on
business being transacted at the meeting or propose items for the agenda of
the next meeting (Time constraints apply)
7. To receive any updates from the Proper Officer and councillors and discuss
and resolve upon any further actions required.
8. To discuss and resolve upon a grant to Sully Community Library for their open
day.
9. To discuss and resolve upon next actions in respect of the Community Asset
Transfer (Subject to the availability of the appropriate reports).
10. To discuss and resolve upon an extension of the lease of Sully Sailing Club.
11. To discuss and resolve upon a date for the next beach clean.
12. To discuss and resolve upon limiting access to the car park Burnham Avenue.
13. The proposed date of the next meeting of the Community Council is a full
Council meeting on the 5th October 2026.
In accordance with section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to
meetings) Act 1960. In view of the confidential nature of the business to be
transacted, it is advisable in the public interest that the press and public
are excluded from the meeting.
Part 2
1. To receive any confidential updates from the Proper Officer and councillors
and discuss and resolve upon any further actions required ( Staff
matters/Personal issues).
2. To discuss and agree the latest National Salary Award in respect of the
Proper Officer.
3. To discuss and agree to any further actions in respect of a number of
complaints received.
