NOTICE OF FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING
I hereby give notice that a Meeting of the Community Councils Finance Committee will be held on Monday 8th December 2025 at 6.30pm

All Members of the Councils Finance Committee are hereby summoned to participate remotely in order to consider and resolve upon the matters which appear in the agenda. The community councils’ remote meetings protocol will apply.
Agenda
1. To note attendance and receive apologies for absence.
2. To receive declarations of interest and the nature of those interests. (Relevant to items being discussed on the agenda).
3. To approve the minutes of the previous meeting.
4. To approve the schedule of payments.
5. To receive a report from the representatives of external bodies at Sully Primary School, those on the Chemical Advisory Board and Community Liaison Panel, VOGC locally elected members and the councillors associated with our Sec 6 obligations (If Applicable).
6. Democratic Half Hour – The public are invited to make representations on business being transacted at the meeting or propose items for the agenda of the next meeting (Time constraints apply)
7. To receive any updates from the Proper Officer and councillors and discuss and resolve upon any further actions required. (Including but not limited to Allotments, Sustainable Sully, etc)
8. To discuss and resolve upon a budget for the Carols around the tree event
9. To discuss and resolve upon a donation to the Rotary Club of Dinas Powis
10. To discuss and resolve upon next actions in respect of the SLRA
11. To discuss and resolve upon a mobile phone policy to cover the use of community council owned mobile phone
12. To discuss and agree upon the councils budget for the Financial year 2026-2027
13. To discuss and resolve upon the precept request for the Financial year 2026-2027
14. To discuss and resolve upon any increase in hire charges for users for the forthcoming year
15. To discuss and resolve upon the transfer of the earmarked reserves to an account with Hinkley & Rugby Building Society
16. The proposed date of the next meeting of the Community Council is a full Council meeting on the 12th January 2026.
In accordance with section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to meetings) Act 1960. In view of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted, it is advisable in the public interest that the press and public are excluded from the meeting.
