Review of Polling Places and Polling Stations 2026
Vale of Glamorgan Council is carrying out a review of polling districts, polling places and polling stations across the Vale.
The review is being undertaken to ensure that electors have reasonable facilities for voting and that polling places are suitable and accessible to all members of the community, including people with disabilities.
Residents are invited to share their views on any aspect of the polling districts, polling places and polling stations currently in use. The Council also welcomes comments from elected representatives, town and community councils, local organisations, candidates and political parties, as well as individuals or organisations with particular expertise in accessibility.
If your comments relate to a polling place, you are encouraged to suggest an alternative location where possible.
The consultation runs from Monday 5 October until Friday 30 October 2026.
Representations should be made in writing to the Electoral Registration Officer and must be received by 5pm on Friday 30 October 2026.
There are no proposals to change the polling districts. Details of the existing arrangements and proposed changes to polling places and polling stations are available from Vale of Glamorgan Council.
The final results of the review will be published and incorporated into the Revised Register of Electors on 1 February 2027.
