The raised flower bed outside the pavilion is to have a ‘make over’ and provide some colour and interest for residents in an otherwise green area. Three local contractors were approached to quote for the work, but despite being reminded only one responded. The contractor who responded has been asked to complete the work. #sully #lavernock #sullyandlavernock #Garden #GardenCompetition
Just to remind everyone that the closing date for entering this competition is Friday 13th July. Entry only costs £1 and entry forms can be obtained from The Post Office Shop, The Constitutional Club and The Old School. Judging will be during the week 20th July to 26th July. Why not enter your garden – don’t worry about a brown lawn, we all have the same problem! Last year’s winner was a first time entry so you might be the lucky one this time. #sully #lavernock #sullyandlave

Hi everyone. We are hoping to start an after school chess club in sully library. The suggested day has been Thursday but could change to suit majority. Time would be starting at 3:45 or 4:00 for 1 hour. Children will need to have access to a chessboard. If interested please email with the day that suits you best. There is no age limit at the moment and it's a social meet purely to enjoy the game and hopefully pickup some skills Kind regards Njeri Bartlett njeribartlett@gmail.
